Anyway, I'd like to present to you a song I wrote for all those that don't have the opportunity to celebrate the holidays with their family. I'm talking about the orphans, homeless, inmates, and soldiers at war. I hope that this song brings forth a reaction, any reaction. I want to take time out to shout out one of the best and realest black authors/writers I came across: <a target="_new" href="http://www.sistersouljah.com">Sister Souljah. The first time I came across her work was attending Dawson College. A friend of mine gave me her book to read: The Coldest Winter Ever. I read the whole book in 2-3 days it was so damn good. I've always been into books, but I never read a 200+ page book that fast. I got a chance to read more urban books by different authors over the years,&nbsp;but they have never been as good as Sister Souljah's 2 books. Around October, I picked up her latest work: Midnight.&nbsp;Easily&nbsp;one of the best books&nbsp;I've&nbsp;read&nbsp;since high school. There's alot of pages to read through, but a must read for any young black male or female. I give it a 9 on 10 easy. It was interesting seeing life through the eyes of a young kid from Africa, now living in the mean streets of Brooklyn. I also had the chance to do a photoshoot with <a target="_new" href="http://www.marielyssa.com">Marie Lyssa Dormeus&nbsp;that same week-end. By Frebruary, my single will be distributed online on Itunes, Rhapsody, Amazon so be on the look-out for that. I am currently putting the finishing touches to my digital tape &quot;M.V.P&quot; with production by Kajmir Royale, Denzel Haskins, &amp; Main Event West.
